FESTIVE MUSIC FOR CHRISTMAS TIME - On this new CD production, the internationally known Austrian trumpet virtuoso Anton Nolf presents a sparkling blend of festive music of well-known, festive musical works, suitable for the Advent and Christmas season. The artist interprets well-known classical works by G.F. Haendel and J.S.Bach and popular folk songs with various classical baroque trumpets accompanied by a string orchestra. The virtuoso interpretation and music composition emphasizes the festive setting for this music production. Anton Nolf studied trumpet with Prof. Erich Rinner at the Landes-Konservatorium Innsbruck, then he attended international masterclasses with Maurice André in Zuerich and received lessons from Prof. Pierre Thibaud (Conservatory Paris). There followed numerous concert series and church concerts in Germany and abroad, at festivals and events, appearances on television and radio, as well as four CD productions. With this new album, the baroque trumpeter joins in the long line of his international successes.
