The music on this CD is a vivid kaleidoscope of different cultures. East meets West, the sarod (Indian lute) and oud (oriental short necked lute) or guitar, a female voice and a clarinet merge virtuously in a way – it’s nearly impossible to separate these single elements. At times the East leads an the West adds its typical facets to create a new horizon of sound. At times the Western guitar takes the lead into this very unique musical style and the sarod adds its color and complexity.
